Rosalind’s book Queen Bees and Wannabess: Helping Your Daughter Survive Cliques, Gossip, Boyfriends & Other Realities of Adolescence was the basis for the movie and then musical Mean Girls. 

High school theater departments around the country are now hosting their own musical productions of Mean Girls. And one in particular, Visitation, has been a long-time partner with Rosalind. During the 2023-2024 school year, in collaboration with Visitation Academy’s theater director and counselors, Rosalind is creating curricula around the musical; integrating art, theater, and social and emotional learning to bring the larger lessons of book and movie to life.  Rosalind will work with the cast, individual grade levels, and parents for in-person presentations, and will provide support throughout the school year in alignment with the school’s mission and values promoting the overall wellbeing and development of all students.
