Here’s how to join the conversation:

To Register as a Member

  • Go to http://rosalindwiseman.com/forums/ and click on the link to register
  • Create a username and fill in the other required information.
  • You’ll receive a confirmation email from the forum system with the Subject “Forum: Password” shortly after you submit your information. Please check your Spam or Junk folders to make sure the message does not get stuck there inadvertently. If you do not receive your password email within 24 hours, contact your IT department or call us at 202-545-0633 for assistance.
  • You may then login at http://rosalindwiseman.com/forums/ using the password emailed to you.

To Change your Password or Profile Information

  • Navigate to the main forums page at http://rosalindwiseman.com/forums/
  • Login to the forums using the password sent to you in the email confirmation.
  • Once logged-in, click on your username
  • Then, click “edit” on the right-hand side of the screen.
  • You may change your profile information, including your password, on the “edit profile” page.

To Start a New Topic / Question / Comment

  • Navigate to the main forums page at http://rosalindwiseman.com/forums/
  • Login to your account, if you haven’t already done so.
  • Click on the “Topic – Add new” link located under “Latest Discussions”
  • Give your topic a short title so that it can be easily identified on a list (ex: Should I let my daughter go to sleepovers?)
  • Enter additional information about your topic in the space labeled “Post”. (ex: My 13-year-old daughter gets invited to a lot of sleepover parties, but always complains about lack of sleep and other girls making fun of her. How do other parents handle this problem?)
  • Enter a few words (called tags) separated by commas to help someone find your topic. (ex: parenting, sleepovers, parties, teens)
  • Select which of our pre-made categories your topic best fits into from the list provided. (ex: Parenting: Grades 6 through 12) Don’t worry too much about the “right” category to choose – just go with your gut. We know some questions could easily fit into multiple categories.
  • Finally, click “Send Post”
  • Be sure to check back frequently to see what others have said about your topic.
  • You can post as many new topics or respond to as many other posts as you want – the sky’s the limit

To Respond to a Topic / Question / Comment

  • Navigate to the main forums page at http://rosalindwiseman.com/forums/
  • Login to your account, if you haven’t already done so.
  • Click on a topic of interest to you.
  • Enter your comment in the “Post” section.
  • Click on “Send Post”.
  • Check back frequently to see what others have said in response to your comment.
  • Remember, you can post as many new topics or respond to as many other posts as you want.
