Mean girls or mean guys has all the trappings of terrorist organizations – at any age, and at any level, and whether they are used in political parties, student activism, cults, corporate board rooms, or government service, the agenda is cultivated while still children, where the loyalties are tested, and the rules are made.

To look upon bullying as innocent would be wrong; it is usually deadly serious in that it is the outward expression of power supported by “team members, or wannabe team members” (the source of that power) in order to accrue power by the manipulation of personal relationships. The mafia and every power-monger-oriented group is made of the same “stuff,” and most are highly dependent upon continued favoritism in the group. Political parties are great examples of these dynamics at work as adults where the power is wielded with little credence given to the desires, needs of nonmembers, or those considered low ranking destined to be resigned to the fringes of these Queen Bee circles whether they are male or female.

Considerably more research could be done on such groups and their utilty in society to empower others or to deprive others of the benefits that power groups come to take for granted that threatens most folks and how their lives are lived under clique regimes, manufactured at the local level in thousands or millions of towns and cities, and converted to the State and National arena through commerce and politics.
